This Thursday! I will be celebrating my birthday with an amazing art spectacular I created, RED ZEBRA and an open invitation to my beloved city of L.A.
Beginning This Thursday RED ZEBRA will happen once every quarter! Red Zebra is my virtual painting of DTLA, inspired by Downtown herself and why we live and love here, created for the purpose of celebrating & supporting the creatives that put the stripes on this city. Red Zebra IS spectacular art-as-a-party- event, using my brand as an artist as a platform to see Artists/musicians/performers & designers in “TRUE” creative dialog with each other. A social movement that inspires via live performances, video installations, live painting, live music, runway fashion shows and more!
I believe that an artist has the ability to shape the way a cities history is written and that’s what I intend to do! -Vargas
